So, I made some cushions for my daughter's room. All by myself! *giggles*
It's the very first time I tried my hand at sewing with a machine. And I'm hooked!
Look at the lovely results:
I got all this fabrics (and TONS more) for 5$ in a thrift store. The purple polka dots and the pink plaid were totally what I was looking for!
Action shot; I also did that "quilt" ahah! Nice enough for the babies :)
They are pretty much everywhere at the end of the day. Bébé loves to toss them around, sit on them, make a pile, undo the pile, pile them in her baby crib, etc....

What a beautiful sewing machine your mother gave you! And you did a great job on those sweet pillows {I think that's all I know how to make and it's been a LONG time!}. And you got a great deal on all that fabric, too!
ReplyDeleteMy mom gave me a machine this summer and now I need to dig it out and try to make something! I'm so impressed with your projects.

Great job! And cute baby!
ReplyDeleteYou're a natural! I'm just starting to figure out the sewing machine my MIL gave me years ago. Made a little rice bag for a friend... seams were uneven but it was passable. Wish I had your talent!
