Elemental plush doll: Fire!

Finally I managed making one Fire version of my elementals! The gang is now complete.




Couldn't get a group shot because I don't know where the Air is...
Anyway. You can see I slightly changed my pattern to make a flame head.

I used felt for this one. He's so cuddly. I think he's my new favorite.
I tried some outfit but none where fitting to my taste. He'll have a nice one by the time I make the group shot :)

You can bet my daughter stole it before I could make any other outfit tryout!

I might add some embroidery details on his head too.


What do you all think? I know most of you like it when the design is simple

Elemental plush doll: Air

Here comes the 3rd elemental: Air!

Made out of felt this time; turned out a tad smaller. She has very plushie white air, with white feathers in it :) She has yellow eyes and beige mouth.

She has a cloak made out of lace and a pretty sunny dress :)

I don't know if I'll use felt again for an elemental... The feeling is different!
I'm not sure if I'll put it to sale... Maybe I'm too emotional??

Here's the cool crew together, waiting on their Fire friend (and maybe Spirit) to be complete!

I made a pattern for them, that I'm gonna sell around 10$. They'll include clothing, too. It's currently being tested, and you will know for sure when the pattern will be up for sale!!

When I'm done with the Fire I'll start making witches, wizard, fairies... Any other creatures you'd like to see??

Elemental plush doll: Water

Here's my second elemental plushie in its Water version!



Again, this one is made of an old t-shirt... in this case the one I gave birth with. It's a gift for my daugther so I wanted to make it extra special.
It's filled with scrap pieces of felt and cottons.



The face features are Waldorf doll style inspired. Decided to make the eyes white for more fantasy!



The hairs are sewn in by 2-3 thread of wool at a time. Used a whole package but I don't know how much it is...



The tail is made out of an old tee my mommy used to wear all the time for a LONG time. The points are scrap pieces from the cousins from our master bedroom and are firmly stuffed with scrap pieces of fabric. An elastic holds the top of the tail and I've put a single seashell out of tan felt. It's taken off like a piece of cloths to reveal a pair of blue legs



I could have put way more details on her... But it's for my toddler to toss around so I kept it simple
Again, this is a prototype of plus I want to start selling in my etsy...Would you buy one for a child in your life? Would you buy one for yourself if it was more intricate??
I also welcome constructive criticism

Elemental plush doll: Earth

I've been planning this one for a long time in my head before trying it out.



My daugther loves to sit her dolls and plush, saying SIT! out load (she's 20 month old) So I made one.
I've used a pale pink t-shirt my mom never wear, filled the doll with it's own cut-out and other various felt cut out as well. It's really really soft and hugable.
It's my own pattern, and I want to make several of those and try to sell them as we need money. So typically this is my prototype.

My daugther stole it this morning when there was just the body done, no eyes or mouth, and I had to work on it while she was really busy eating or taking a bath since she insisted on napping with it and taking it everywhere around. I prevailed not giving her for tonight bedtime and was able to finish it

The facial feature are inspired from waldorf doll making. the dress is out of another t-shirt and I used green felt the leafy things, plus some green jewelry wire

Ultimatly I'll put more details in other dolls as I get better doing them.. This one has a pair of boot pending. I'll also make versions for older people with beads and jewelry and such
