Elemental plush doll: Water

Here's my second elemental plushie in its Water version!

Again, this one is made of an old t-shirt... in this case the one I gave birth with. It's a gift for my daugther so I wanted to make it extra special.
It's filled with scrap pieces of felt and cottons.

The face features are Waldorf doll style inspired. Decided to make the eyes white for more fantasy!

The hairs are sewn in by 2-3 thread of wool at a time. Used a whole package but I don't know how much it is...

The tail is made out of an old tee my mommy used to wear all the time for a LONG time. The points are scrap pieces from the cousins from our master bedroom and are firmly stuffed with scrap pieces of fabric. An elastic holds the top of the tail and I've put a single seashell out of tan felt. It's taken off like a piece of cloths to reveal a pair of blue legs Smiley

I could have put way more details on her... But it's for my toddler to toss around so I kept it simple Smiley
Again, this is a prototype of plus I want to start selling in my etsy...Would you buy one for a child in your life? Would you buy one for yourself if it was more intricate??
I also welcome constructive criticism Smiley

  1. I would definitely buy one for my kids and for myself! They are so gorgeous and you can tell you put a lot of thought and time into them :) Let me know when you start selling them on your etsy.

  2. That's so cool. I'd definitely buy one for myself, just the way it is (and possibly 2 more for my nieces).

  3. Swoon...I'm in love!! Even with the simplicity of it, I love it! I don't know if you would want to make it any more intricate for an adult. I think the simplicity of it is what makes it so charming. A good idea would be to make another one and add more intricate details that would make it more adult or for an older child and then decide. But knowing myself, I'd love it anyway lol.

I'm a 23 yr old mommy of two little pixies, sharing my life with my best friend. We live in La Belle Province, French is our first language.
