Elemental plush doll: Fire!

Finally I managed making one Fire version of my elementals! The gang is now complete.

Couldn't get a group shot because I don't know where the Air is...
Anyway. You can see I slightly changed my pattern to make a flame head.

I used felt for this one. He's so cuddly. I think he's my new favorite.
I tried some outfit but none where fitting to my taste. He'll have a nice one by the time I make the group shot :)

You can bet my daughter stole it before I could make any other outfit tryout!

I might add some embroidery details on his head too.

What do you all think? I know most of you like it when the design is simple

  1. Fire is the element I have the least rapport with but I love this guy!! Maybe if I had an elemental like him Fire and I would learn to work better together.

  2. Oh, I love him! The flame head is so cute!

  3. Cute! Looks like the pattern could use some tweaking where the dart comes together on the head... It looks like the point should be his nose but then the eyes are underneath it...

And I like the yellow ribbon outfit! Very fire-y!

  4. Thank you for visiting my blog! It allowed me to discover your two blogs, both of which are great! I've just started becoming friendly with my sewing machine, and am amazed by those that have sewing skills.

I think this doll is hot! ;) I think embroidery details would be a nice addition. I'd love to see a group photo with all the elements together (when you find "air", that is).

  5. Aw - he is really cute! I like him with no clothes (giggle) and the yellow ribbon!

  6. This is gorgeous! I immediately had to think about a YA book I read a few years ago, something along the lines of "Just in case you were real" (The original is German, sorry!); a young woman finds a fire spirit in the woods behind her uncle's house...; it made me think of "Sparky". (Yes, that's what the fire guy was called. Sorry for that, no book is perfect.)

I'll make sure to get your patterns and try to make my own, but I really suck at sewing and stuff!

  7. He turned out perfect! I love his flaming head.

  8. Oh, your Fire boy is perfect, I love him!! I can't wait to see the whole gang together! :o)
