I have the
And guess what I did when we came home last night? Skirts, of course!! There's another one more complicated for a swappe partner, but you won't see it until she receives...
My mother's day was pretty lame. The weather was very bad, we had lobster for dinner (which I don't like) and my man, the in-laws and the baby napped all after-noon. Living me in the only chair in the living room not appropriate for napping, with a boring movie on tv.....
Bleh!
But don't worry, after getting to the midwife appointment this morning (who was NOT there) and walking for 30min with belly and back pain... I went to the restaurant with my lady and got myself a proper mother's day dinner. Yay me!
It was great and my daugther helped me finish my ham-brie-mozza crêpe while playing with the various wooden toy they (the restaurant) keep for young children. She also draw while I was sipping a delicious Chaï latte.
I feel I should mention the weather is so bad I had to take out Mariann's winter suit.
So anyway... Last night I decided I was not folding the 4-5 batch of laundry awaiting for me in the master bedroom & the dryer and the hallway.
Instead I took out the plaids I had, and an old black tee with some fishnet shirt I had.
Some 2-3 hours later, I had 2 punky skirts!
I had a lot of fun doing them and I have enough fabric to make a couple more... Might make some and sell them in my etsy!
I LOVE this outfit!!! Your little punk is adorable!! Did you make up the patterns. This out looks like something I would wear. lol Fantastic! I am sorry that you Mama's day was "bleh"
