It's a tiny start, but a start non-the-less!
Painting those are really fun, and simple, and it takes no time, and give something extra personalized :) and it's going straight in her stocking.
Now they need a little felt house, don't they?
And. I had a pair of these, but one burnt at the top, leaving a whole. Not very practical.

I just started Im trying to finish one small project then its all yule til actually yule, i wish i could sew because then the projects would be bigger and more outlandish but thats another project to tackle later.

Those little wooden dolls remind me of my Mother! She use to make them out of clothespins when I was little. They had cute little painted faces and all their outfits were made out of felt. Thanks for reminding me of that memory! :O)

I'm starting some gifts this weekend...my daughter throws a fit if there isnt one hand made one there somewhere.
